Shop 'til ya drop.
It makes sense to do your shopping on your Florida vacation...especially if you're holding Euros. Our dollar just isn't as strong, yet our styles and quality are top-knotch.
Some stores are better than others. I do think that there's a great collection of the best American stores over at the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. It's a real cross-section.
For the kids, there's Oshkosh and Carter's. These are truly two of the best manufacturers of affordable quality children's clothing. Only Hanna Andersson makes it better--and they're Swedish!
On your way from Oshkosh to Carter's, stop off at the playground area. It's well-equipped and shaded during most of the day. You'll find it right next to the food building.
For the teens and young adults, there's Aeropostale and Old Navy.
For us older folks, there's Tommy Hilfiger, Liz Claiborne, VanHeusen, Eddie Bauer , lots of shoes, and more.
The setting of stores encircling a fountain is very nice. It's a good feel; much nicer than an enclosed mall. It's very clean, organized, and easy to find exactly what you need.
The location is great---just south on the 535 from Magic Kingdom's entrance.
